When our daughter was little, she LOVED the Baby Einstein caterpillar. We had the Baby Einstein playpen, a stuffy caterpillar, the whole nine yards. When this ride-em caterpillar appeared under the tree for her first Christmas, she went crazy!
It's a cute rocking toy, soft and easy to grab, and get on and off. It used to have lights and music when you pressed the plastic shapes on the sides; I'm not sure if they no longer work, or if it just needs new batteries. (Either way, sometimes it's nice when toys don't add to the noise level).
I'm very sentimental about this one but I'd be happy to pass our caterpillar on to a new toddler who will love him.
This baby einstein caterpillar was made for a first birthday. Each segment of the body was baked in the Wilton Sports Ball Pan. The facial features and antennae are made out of fondant.
